Voters in Indonesia go to the polls in the nation's first direct election for president... Initial results show incumbent Megawati Sukarnoputri is trailing general Susilo Yudhoyono. And Sukarnoputri is in a close race for second to compete the runoff election in September.

And speculation is running rampant that democratic presidential candidate John Kerry could announce his running mate as soon as tomorrow.
