Project Censored - Flashpoint Ukraine

We discuss the ongoing situation in Ukraine by looking at a new book by Clarity Press edited by Stephen Lendman, "Flashpoint Ukraine: How the US Drive for Hegemony Risks WWIII." We will be joined by a few of the book's contributors- the noted political scientist and author Dr. Michael Parenti joins us for the hour; we will also be joined by Prof. Michel Chossudovsky of Global Research (Centre for Research on Globalization), and former Congresswomen and Green Party Presidential candidate Cynthia McKinney. Co-hosts Mickey Huff and Peter Phillips (along with Nolan Higdon) also contributed to the volume.

A STUPENDOUS installment of

A STUPENDOUS installment of teh Project Censored show! Chussodovsky and Parenti are two of my very favourites.. and McKinney-- a pol for whom I voted. ("Vote your hopes, not your fears." -- our longstanding slogan which Obama '08 took and twisted despicably.)
I hope all the refugees from the 8 o'clock hour found this.. spread it around! I'll save my gripes about schedule changes for sometime in near future.. check the comment areas for the shows themselves, vs. these per-episode pages.
(If things go horribly wrong and wronger around Pacifica, shall we flee to the host of Steve Lendman's show (who took over for Michel C.) over at www.prn.fm ???!? Proj Censored "airs" there as well, btw.

I concur completely. I have

I concur completely. I have been following this closely on the net. I have had to work hard at this because of much pro fascist sabotage of some sources like Twitter and YouTube, but the really breathtaking thing is censorship that is making virtually all sources controlled and unreliable. I find little use for Democracy Now now, for instance, and this show is the first crack in the apparent black out at KPFA of truthful reporting about Ukraine. Worse yet at KPFA is the continued reference to dissidents using various propagandistic terms, like terrorists and gunman, and other names that twist the reporting. Hearing your show was a great blessing and left me with some hope for the station.
