Caroline's guest is Kansas native political writer Thomas Frank, whose latest book, What's the Matter with Kansas? explores the complex mystery as to why/how working class folks have been hood-winked into voting (Republican) against their interests ...How Dems have complicitously abdicated/abandoned not only unions , but inspirational story-telling. Caroline will aspire to incite the author to solutions, or at least resolutions to re-animate cross-partisan discourse, so as to avert cataclysmic planetary extinction etc.
