Voices of the Middle East and North Africa – December 8, 2004

Join co-hosts Malihe and Khalil for this week’s program, during which, we will hear
the first of a two-part series on the history of Iran-United States relations since
1953. This week, from the 1953 Anglo-American coup till September 11, 2001. We will
be hearing the second part of the series from 9-11 till now on our next show on
December 22nd. Later on tonight’s program, we will hear excerpts form written
journals of Bahar Mirhosseini, a young Iranian Bay Area woman activist, as she
traveled through the southern Iranian city of Abadan and the Emirate of Doubai.
