Then hear about Lalon Phokir, a legendary mystic from the Baul sect of traveling minstrels and philosophers from the countryside of Bengal asApex Express talks with Sudipto Chatterjee, assistant professor of theater, at the University of California at Berkeley. We'll have music from Moushumi Bhowmick, one of Bengal's most well known folk musicians, and we'll hear live music and spoken words from young Asian American artists that will be performing at Kearney Street Workshop's annual arts extravganza, Aparture, the biggest Asian Pacific Islander arts festival in the Bay area.
