Theme: Indigenous women.
On the occasion of Indigenous womens day, this show celebrates the achievements and contributions of native women. We begin by speaking to Gail Small, one of the activists featured in the film Homeland: Four Portraits of Native Action, which will screen at the Mill Valley Film Festival on Oct.12 and 14. We will then listen to the music of Joy Hargo followed by an interview with the organizer of the upcoming show Peace Walk. We will end the show with poetry by Norma Coehlo.
