CRIP-HIP-HOP! PL's three part series on disabled hip-hop artists kicks off today. The first hip-hop artist on crutches, Preechman, lives in Yonkers, New York. Preechman was born in Haiti and came to the NY for medical treatment for polio. He has shared the stage with DMX, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick and many more. He gives his thoughts, artistic talents and recent projects with pushing limits. Preechman puts a spotlight on the hip-hop industry and how it deals with crip-hip-hoppers. Produced by Safi wa Nairobi and Leroy F. Moore Jr. Stay tune for our second part, featuring the first Deaf hip-hop group, Helix, and Anasi, a hip-hop play with deaf\hearing actors.
