We will feature voices of women speaking out against the war in the Middle East and the invasion of Lebanon and Palestine. First, we will talk to Iraqi activist Haifa Zangana about the current political situation in occupied Iraq, the resistance against the occupation, and the demonstration against the recent Israeli invasion of Lebanon. Then Nadine Ghammache will talk to her fellow Lebanese American poet Elma Abinader about an upcoming event called "Cease Fire: An Evening of Words and Music" against the siege of Lebanon and Palestine at La Pena in Berkeley, California.
