Coptic poet and educator Matthew Shenoda will recite "State of Siege", a poem by the Palestinian poet, Mahmoud Darwish, one of the most prominent contemporary poets in the Arab world. Mahmoud Darwish is known to be the poetic voice of the Palestinian people.
