In recognition of National Adoption Month, Women's Magazine will feature the voices of women of color adoptees from the new anthology "outsider within: writing on transracial adoption." Women's Magazine will talk to co-editor Julia Sudbury and contributor Sandra White Hawk about this ground breaking anthology which for the first time brings together the voices of adoptees of transracial adoption and looks at their experience and the colonial system that produces this adoption industry. The book launch for this will be held at Mills College on November 9th at 7pm. We will also hear a commentary by Elizabeth Creely of Bacoor on prop 73 the anti-choice proposition on the ballot November 7th in California.
