Cover to Cover with Jack Foley – January 17, 2007

Jack Foley plays Allen Ginsberg’s first recording of "Howl," made in 1955 a few weeks after the famous Six Gallery reading. Ginsberg had been asked to censor his "bad" language and complies with the request. The reading was released as a recording by Hanover Records in 1957.
