In this week’s program, Economics Professor Sasan Fayazmanesh of the California State University, Fresno, will be in conversation with Shahram Aghamir on the role of the most influential pro-Israeli lobby group in the U.S., American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and Israel’s political establishment in the current standoff also involving Iran and the United States. Sasan Fayazmanesh’s forthcoming book is entitled The United States and Iran: Sanctions, Wars and the Policy of Dual Containment.
