sweatshops and immigrant worker rights; Preeti Shekar speaks with Kavita Ramdas, CEO and President of the Global Fund for Women, about the condition of women throughout the world in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; Lynn Feinerman with the Women’s Rising Collective of the National Radio Project Women’s Desk www.nationalradioproject.org salutes Medea Benjamin & Code Pink; and Rivian Berlin interviews Margo Okazawa-Rey, feminist activist and scholar currently living and working in East Jerusalem, about national security.

We conclude this one hour celebration of International Women’s Day with Laura Previs speaking with author Mary Thom on the life of Bella Abzug, a New York Congresswoman during the 1970’s.
