Peter Carey, Booker Prize winning Australian author of such novels as "Oscar and Lucinda", "The True History of the Kelly Gang" and "Jack Maggs", returns with a new novel, "His Illegal Self", set in the 1970s and about a young woman who gets mixed up with radicals and escapes to Australia. He is interviewed by Richard Wolinsky.
