We honor the life and struggles of Cesar Chavez. In this half hour, you hear Cesar Chavez a collection of his words. We start with his address at the CWA Convention in San Francisco in 1991, an interview by Chuy Varela on the "Picket Line" in 1992 and Danny Valdez singing “Viva Huelga en General recorded live at a picket line in 1990.
A true American hero, Cesar was a civil rights, Latino, farm worker, and labor leader; a religious and spiritual figure; a community servant and social entrepreneur; a crusader for nonviolent social change; and an environmentalist and consumer advocate.
