Herb Boyd's book "Baldwins Halem" outlines James Baldwin-his work and his life- in the context of developments in Harlem during the era of the depression, his exdous from the United States, and during the Civil Rights era. Herb Boyd is the author of more than 16 books highlighting the African American experience.
