In the first half hour, hear Michelle Ernsting’s Radio Netherlands documentary, The Meaning of Sila, or the forces of nature. Sila is also referred to as the ‘outside.’ In the second half hour of the Radio Chronicles, aboriginal people share stories about what it means to be living on this earth as they discuss the cycle of life. It’s excerpts from David Kettenburg’s SweetGrass Road. Then, hear comments from two filmmakers, Elisabeth Mandel and Andrew Walton, with excerpts from their film, Arctic Son.
