Women's Magazine: Elaine Brown.Elaine Brown, former chairwoman of the Black Panther Party speaks candidly about the election of Barack Obama, what it means to her, and how it will affect her work as an AfAm activist. You will also hear author and filmmaker, Sharim Sarif discuss the adaptations to film of her two books, The World Unseen, and I Can't Think Straight. Both films, directed by Sarif herself, were released this year and concern women from traditional and diverse cultures breaking taboos to fall in love with each other.
