The Morning Show discusses the efficacy of civilian control of police and the case of Oscar Grant with Osha Neuman, defense attorney and former member of the Berkeley Police Review Commission and Pricilla Ocen, Thurgood Marshal Fellow at the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights in the San Francisco Bay Area . In the second hour a discussion of the confirmation of Gen. Eric Shinseki to be Sec. of Veterans' Affairs. Then the confirmation of Lisa Jackson to be Director of the Environmental Protection Agency with Tony Masaro, Political Director of the League of Conservation Voters. Wrapping up the program the confirmation of Tom Vilsack to be Sec. of Agriculture.
