Nina Serrano interviews storyteller and Civil Rights Movement veteran Jim Mc Wiiliams, who recounts his early days in the segregated south, the formation of the civil rights movement for equality and the development of northern support groups. Mc Williams ends with a short recitation of a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr speech, which he performed last summer at the Highlander Folk School with Vukani Mathewu.
