Paul Robeson, Archie Shepp, Nina Simone, Amiri Baraka, Jayne Cortez, Malcolm X, Oscar Brown Jr., Abbey Lincoln, Max Roach, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Gil Scott-Heron, Reginald Lockett and Devorah Major are some of the figures to be heard from.
