To celebrate National Poetry Month, Jack and Adelle Foley present “Words & Books, Poetry & Writing,” a consideration of the history of poetry, the relationship of writing to poetry, and poetry’s relationship to conceptions of selfhood. This speech from Foley’s book, O Powerful Western Star, will be punctuated with performances of poems.
