Radio Chronicles - James Brown Day Celebration

James Brown has had the most impact on popular music in the 20th century and perhaps the 21st century. This Soul Brother Number One has inspired the likes of Nigeria's Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Japan's Osaka Monorail and millions of children, elderly and everyday people across the globe. He learned some tough lessons throughout life, which helped shape his professional career.

Produced and hosted by Safi wa Nairobi.
