Sing Out - Two Hours of Richard ThompsonBoth Richard Thompson and KPFA celebrated their 60th birthdays in April, so tune in for this double-birthday Sing Out special: Two Hours of Richard Thompson, his relatives and friends. Co-hosted by Larry Kelp and Sally Phillips, who urge you to pledge online at the very secure kpfa.org website while they treat you to Richard, Linda, Teddy, FFKT, "Grizzly Man," Fairport and other moments of musical greatness all connected to the extraordinary English singer-guitarist who knows that "The Wall of Death" may be more than an amusement park ride, and that combining red hair, black leather and motorcycles with a fatal gunshot wound can lead to not only one great love song, but also visions of a perfect world through music.
