This week, an important bill is moving through the California Senate which would ban cancer-causing chlorinated and brominated flame retardants from furniture and bedding. Terre Verde discusses this ground-breaking bill, as well as the future of green chemistry in California, with guests Arlene Blum, a biochemist and visiting scholar at UC Berkeley; and Tony Stefani of the San Francisco Firefighters Cancer Prevention Foundation.
