A special hour-long discussion about the future of bookselling and publishing, with special guests Clark Kepler of Kepler's Books in Menlo Park, Bill Petrocellli of Book Passage in Corte Madera, and Andy Ross & Leslie Berkler of the now-defunct Cody's Books in Berkeley. The DVD documentary "Paperback Dreams" details the story of Cody's and Kepler's, and is available for a $120 subscription to KPFA. This program, which details the problems facing independent booksellers today, serves as an adjunct to the DVD as well as an update.
