This is what Mr Henwood said after playing a taped radio phone-in on Cuba's plan to sack half a million workers:
"And that was the voice of Julia Sweig, a Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, an expert on the Cuban economy and a conference girl - call - erh, sponsored earlier in the week by . . .".
So there we have it: so not on a conference call, but she's a conference girl.
Call, girl, call girl. So easy to say what one's thinking.
