Grace Paley, the activist and writer whose vibrant, Bronx-accented short stories illuminated the daily trials and boisterous interior lives of working-class men and women in language that radiated humanity, intelligence and streetwise humor, died last month on August 22nd. She was 84.
In celebration of her life, this afternoon we bring you, a documentary titled "Rha and Grace" produced by Deepa Fernandez and Matt Rogers that chronicles Grace Paley's work as an activist juxtaposed with the work of another New Yorker of a younger generation, artist, poet, and social activist, Rha Goddess.
