Renowned author Chris Hedges paints a bleak picture of our world today, in rapid economic, environmental, and religious decline. He says we have a chance to turn things around—but only if we stand up for our rights, and stop holding out hope that political parties, or other global leaders will act in our interests. On this edition, Chris Hedges speaks about his new book, The World as it is: Dispatches on the Myth of Human Progress.
