In listening to(Lingam) Uprising Radio , as I like to call it,
I am surprised at the distinct contrast between it and the
show that precedes it on KPFA; like day and night.
Today's uprising highlighted Tel Aviv's ongoing concern with
so-called "conspiracy theories" being believed by ever
increasing amounts of people in America,- chief financial backer
of the Israel thing, -and the world. This concern was
strongly noted by the ADL back in 2003.
Jonathan Kay says the purpose of his book is to inoculate
people against such theories.
In a quick internet search for info about this author I saw he
was "moderator" recently for a new Orwellian named group
ACL, kicked off in Canada with bigwigs flying in from Israel for
the occasion; the ACL's purpose is to suppress criticism of Israel on
College Campuses. Presumably, "inoculating" people against
"conspiracy theories" would serve this ACL-ADL agenda.

jesus sonali- listening to this again, it's even worse than i remembered- and where are your questions-when he goes on about two separate conferences for 9/11 truthers--'the noam chomsky- left wing- '''america hating'''''--really? and the 'young, america-loving, right wing'-wow - and no comment from you even on this- this is really one of the most pathetic interviews i have ever heard on kpfa- you were either having a really bad day or something is amiss here- this guy makes broad statements- which you do not challenge, and then develops his if- then logic-
you said you read his book- but you were obviously unprepared to interview this guy, who sounds like the kind of disinformation hack that we hear about infiltrating groups all the time -- perhaps you need a cohost?- this stuff just cannot be let to go by- really really shameful sonali

I have enjoyed Uprising in the past and tried to listen to this program when it was first broadcast. But this author was such an intellectual fraud I turned it off after about 15 minutes. He's someone you'd expect on FOX - not KPFA. Anyway, because of the comments the program has sparked I tried listening to it again but the program is just silly. As several people have already said - go to Guns & Butter to hear reliable information by presented by independent experts and scientist on 9-11 that will help illuminate this complex and tragic issue.

Love the show this week and I usually do- but what the hell happened last week????????
What an insult to compare the 9/11 fraud investigations with the Birther movement.
I have so much respect for you Sonali- please do better investigative research before you roll out idiots like that!!!!!!!! I would suggest going to listen to a presentation by the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth- that will give the lie to that idiot and educate yourself at the same time. There is great info out there- you ignore it to the nations peril.
I disagree with the people who are attacking you personally- i think some of the people you interview are quite interesting. But I do wonder who you've been speaking to about some of these topics? For instance, the guy who spoke about forest fires on a later show and global warming made no reference to ongoing weather modificaton programs and their terrible impact on the climate and our health. The phone bankers were taking calls, I had one from a 9/11 guy who said he didn't give money any longer because of lack of coverage. When i engaged with him i was told to hang up. I refused, and told him that I totally support an investigation and KPFA- that we just need constant pressure to change station attitudes- I also wondered about the refusal to cover geoengineering and weather modification- I was told by station management at that time, that those issues would be covered when 'hell freezes over.'
things are getting better- tieckert and allison are gone, and i think the clique has been somewhat dissembled- but ......... we have a long way to go- thanks--Valeri
ps- I would so appreciate it if you could talk about why you had that anti 9/11 investigation guy on and how you found him. That would go a long way to reestablishing your credibility.

can we say negative things about this show? after all with a name like Sonali we have to suspect she is protected by race, nationality and gender; that whatever position/s she takes she's to be respected and admired therefore.

Despite their claims for "progressivism" (whatever that means) KPFA and Pacifica Radio have always been mouthpieces for the most reactionary sector of American society: Wall Street bankers, oil magnates, transnational corporations and the military-industrial-pharmaceutic-academic complex. Just take a close look at their main sponsors.

So, you got what you have paid for. Fortunately, we got Obama (or is he Bushama?) to provide further proof that you have been duped. The Left VS Right, Democrat VS Republican is a hoax created to dupe you, members of the religious Left (very similar to the members of the religious Right).

I suggest you read an excellent book that tells the true history: Psychological Warfare and the New World Order: The Secret War Against the American People. You are going to learn a lot of interesting things, among them that some of your loved heroes, like Castro and Chavez, are secret agents of the Wall Street bankers and oil magnates they claim to hate.

Fortunately, however, I see that you are awakening from your induced dream. The comments to this awful program show that now it has become a little more difficult to dupe you.

I agree with all the negative remarks about this terrible interview with Jonathan Kay. We get enough misinformation from mainstream media, if you ever happen to turn to it to see what the masses are being fed.
We don't need sophomoric interviews that let the guest spout lies and innuendos without facts or without challenging them. Sonali did a grave disservice to the listeners and I doubt I will listen to Uprising Again.

Most of the above comments said it all. I thought I was listening to NPR for a second. Maybe Sonali can bring on David Ray Griffin or one of the many architects and engineers to counter J. Kay's allegations point by point. Fortunately, his book is only receiving low rartings on Amazon.

Kay was your all time worst interview. He would set up straw arguments then knock them down. It was like Sonali was not there. For starters any disagreement with what is going on isn't a conspiracy theory. The government treats us like children. Sonali doesn't need to also.r

Sonali's soft interview and leading questions really surprised me for a show titled "Uprising Radio". Kay smears 911 truther's as adolescent fantasizers, comprised of radical young "patriotic" right wing and old Viet Nam era" America hate" left wing.He says the left "spouting the same old stuff" are all acolytes of Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn. Sonali should know that Chomsky does not give any credence to a 911 "inside job". Kay has an upfront bias. He wants to" inoculate the public "against 911 truth assertions. Kay doesn't like the effect intelligent 911 truther's are having on mainstream political discourse. Is this serious investigative journalism?? Kay is simply trying to cash in on the 911 truth movement with this stupid book.

Hearing the death knell of KPFA. How much longer before all the programs I like have been replaced with propaganda and/or incompetence. Where are the people in the street that stopped this sort of thing under a previous Pacifica monster.

The people who dismiss all conspiracy theories are just as guilty of shoddy analysis as the people who believe all conspiracy theories.

I'll take the genuine analysis of facts over this nasty sort of shallow innuendo any day.

Johnathon Kay is a paid troll or a useful idiot,american people don't believe his views. Is it crazy to question how bulding 7 of the world trade center fell at the speed of gravity,could that be a demolition. Uprising radio is now a propaganda mouth piece for the politicians.Remember how to commit the perfect crime,simple "control the investigation." It is not a crime to question authority,unless they don't like the questions.
