As always great show with Tarpley. Once again we see the depht of the disinformation by our mainstream media. The Lybian people need to continue the fight, if they can hold on until the end of the year maybe they'll be able to create serious fractures within this barbaric coalition of killers. The future of Africa hangs in the balance for if they loose Cyrenaica will become the seat of Africom and the recolonization, rape and mureder of the black continent will accelerate without any oppositon. I'm convinced many Pan-African nationalists are anxiously watching and taking courage observing the resolve and determination of the vast majority of the Lybi african tribes.
P.S. I'm always amaze to see how fast the pentagon trolls are able to post disingenuous comments after your show, it's probably done by automatic bots as we've learned.Anyways Bonnie keep up the good work it's much needed in these times, for if we do not react to the actions of these elites, in the middle of the greatest economic depression we've seen, they will probably take us to some sort of total war.
Thanks so much for the show. As you know, Tarpley is not the only one coming out with the truth regarding US/NATO murderous attack against Moammar El-Gadhafi (one of 32 spellings) government. Some others are Michel Chossudovsky, Michel Collon, Diana Johnstone, Mahdi Darius Nazemroaya (currently in Libya), Cynthia McKinney (in Libya directly before the bombings and after bombings, just returned form Libya and is starting a tour to tell the truth), Lizzie Phelan (spoke on Press TV). Absent from the truth telling-list is Amy Goodman who has done more than her share of NON-investigative reporting and deception, such warmongering deception as Gadhafi killed 6000 of his civilians, Gadhafi gave his men Viagra to induce them to rape, the very dubious rape claim by a woman from the opposition. It is very dangerous to have a "progressive" media leader deceive the progressive public. That is why it is so important for people who do their investigative reporting to be given a voice. Thank you for giving voice to the truth and reality. The only regret, of course, is that we cannot bring back the dead and cannot collect the horrible depleted uranium NATO has used and that will continue to destroy life for centuries.
Libya is the Yugoslavia of North Africa. It is a country of irreconcilable ethnic diversity held together by authoritarian force administered by a strong personality. Like Saddam and Tito, Gaddafi used a socialist approach to sustain a very long tenure in office as the maximum leader. It has critical geography and resources and the lust for both by Europe and the US will spell its downfall. At least Ol' Web got a nice trip to the most developed country in Africa for his disinformation efforts. After Libya, Syria and Iran are next.
Thanks so much, Bonnie, for this show on Libya. The extra information is greatly appreciated. Some of his assertions can be taken with a grain of salt; perhaps they are a result of Potemkin tours he was taken on -- i.e., how can one KNOW the human shields are volunteers? Nonetheless, it was extremely valuable in this information desert on Libya. Do more on Libya with more experts, more eyewitnesses, if you can. Again, thanks so much!
Bonnie. Please do a show on the Austerity Cuts. Please consider this:
Nine Myths And Misconceptions About Money That Can Literally Kill You
We have a moral obligation to pay our national debt. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong.
Jim Willie pointed out to Max Keiser that in the 1990s under beloved leaders Bill Clinton and George H W Bush the Treasury sold 2.2 trillion dollars more in Treasury bonds than were required to fund the deficit. That money was pocketed by the banks who now expect you to pay them back for the money they stole plus the interest. Catherine Austin Fitts has been telling us for years that the government allows the banks to steal billions of dollars every week from government spending which we are not allowed to audit.
We owe the banks nothing. We need to take back what they have stolen.

Tarpley's attempted explanation for why Gaddafi cooperated with the IMF boggles the imagination, especially given that the chief enforcer for this cooperation in the Gaddafi regime is now head of the Transition Council in Bengazi. He totally ducked a question about Gaddafi's son being honored at the State Department by Hillary Clinton, in 2009. Bonnie Faulkner got this wrong, it wasn't at the beginning of the current upsurge this past February. Another of his sons was in the US at the time, but he was touring US military bases, not the state department, One wonders what Tarpley would say about this if he were asked.
The illegal nature of the Libya intervention is totally in contradiction to both Constitutional and international law and conventions.
The nature of the sons' involvement with official US functions, touring, etc. shows how Qaddafi was deceived and blindsided by the NATO assault on Libya, not subterfuge within the government or family, and the visit itself was to set up infrastructure projects such as the corps of engineers might do, but in Libya, for the people of Libya.
The war in Libya is a crime!
