People have GOT to understand that if candidates are not against U.S. warring, they're not - as Scheer reflected about the person he ran opposite - good guys.
The Declaration reclaims rights that had been stolen from people - likely everywhere - over millennia. That's different from originating those rights, as pretty much suggested by admirers of the document. Yes it's inspiring, lovely prose. The work is to remember who people have been since our beginning. Our enslavement to our Owners here on THeir plantation stem from their successful theft of our mentation.
So indict their strongest institution of our oppression, school. THey've substituted school for education. It's not just about that critical thinking thing - people have been told that , like education, critical thinking is a saleable block of something. It's not. We all critically think - from the time we come out - well, we're finding out, even before we get out of mother.

Great program! Why is the medical mafia calling constantly in every program, and that too on Declaration of Independence, with anti-Obama attack that reeks of selfishness and greed? They want Republicans so their medical technology and drug companies can succeed! Their attack on Obama comes with an agenda. I understand some of the critique of Obama's administration...but others seem to have a selfish agenda!

So here it is! There is a bigger reversal on some basic rights declared in the Declaration of Independence. But it is being whined about because the White media is feeling the pinch. Otherwise none of this would have been discussed...I did not hear this twenty years ago!

Why this Bill Clinton bashing? He did not take the American military into Vietnam, he did not go into Iraq and he actually had a less violent military foreign policy. It seems that this Anglo obsession with the system is with finance exclusively...no matter how many innocent people die abroad. There was a belief that as long as Anglos are free and successful then Declaration of Independence was perfect! This bias and partiality is what led to the inequalities in the system.

In fact the reaction to Obama's election is itself tells you how behind America is...a country where 46% did not vote for him because of his race, ethnicity and name! In the 21st century! Not policies, programs or personality...just unfamiliarity or discomfort with race, ethnicity and minority status.

The best and the brightest with a crooked selfish mind did it! Not the best and the brightest with integrity! The latter are struggling and were conveniently thrown out of the system!

Bob is simply borrowing and ranting! Lets have him go to the Midwest and South!

That woman with health care desperation seems to be "doc cod" who seems to have such a narrow focus. These are the people who make the bigger status quo continue! There is cluelessness, carelessness and selfishness (desperation from doctors, immigrants and non-immigrants, who want to make the money they spent on their education and come to the US to "make money"). Then they attack smart strong women in their communities who want them to think bigger!

If third generation Jews feel safe in mostly NYC, fourth generation Asian Americans stay in California (for acceptance and respect), fifth generation Latinos feel like second class citizens even now and fifth generation Blacks are treated as outsiders compared to second generation Canadians or Finns....liberty is not ringing so high!

Good program! I do admit that one of your interviewee's obsession that at least White men were equal in the Declaration of Independence...and now it is all bad because Whites are no longer the majority in Cal and they don't have thier way. It is this bias, some would say "narcissism", that has taken everybody down.. Like that character in "Falling Down" who says, "If am going down I am taking with you" - with a gun!

One of your other speaker, more balanced and accurate, is right when he says that there has been reversal of democracy and liberty. In some ways the system is more sophisticated in its persecution and marginalization - and it is still minorities and immigrants, more so than Whites, who pay the price. Lets not make this a moral equivalency. Now the red necks across America are attacking minorities and immigrants.

Wonderful program! The Declaration of Independence should be better discussed, debated and amended to get rid of the Anglocentricism, Anglo bias, Anglo racism, Anglo colonialism, Anglo classism and sexism. I had forgotten about the reference to "the savages". I guess, according to that, I must be "a savage" with a progressive globalized commitment to "equality and justice".

What is scary is how did we go "from liberty (with its limited application then and to some degree now) to a State with little or no liberty at all. This is "reversal of liberty" - not even stagnation.

In other words, as my wife noted yesterday, that declaration might appear progressive relative to what we are seeing now. It is like Conservatives saying, "Relative to Saudi Arabia we are way ahead so be greatful!" This is the standard now!

Then White Male playing field has become a selective rich White Male priveleged field. America has set a new low, or a new precedent, in a police state where people of color, women and the poor are persecuted in a more and more sophisticated ways.

Should we be celebrating 4th of July at all? Should we choose another date for another set of reasons that celebrates liberty for all...with equality and justice!

Bob on the great American stick-up seems to rant and rave about White man's deterioration of power...but for a lot people there was no power at all. And there has always been a tendency to use idealistic language to cover up crude, cruel and unprincipled actions and beliefs. It is like saying "Invading and occupying Iraq is good for Iraqis - including the ones who are dead, disabled and displaced!"

What should we say to people with this desire to celebrate 4th of July in an old fashioned ra-ra flags with salutes, military and weapons way?
