My son faces life in prison for a crime he did not commit. Thank you for shedding light on the treatment of prisoners, all of whom are someone's child. It was difficult to hear how America, the so-called beacon of human rights, treats its inmates. It appears that the "corrections system" needs more correcting than many of the citizens they house. When you say that the supermax prisons are the most extreme form of punishment next to the death penalty, I have to wonder if death would be preferable to spending time in a supermax prison. Thanks so much for your work.
