The Pelican prison protest is very informative. If they are doing this to prisoners who have been in prison for a long time, and are not in some special unit, one can imagine what Manning might be going through - being in a special unit.
Thanks for the international news! I hope India takes a sensible view towards these terrible bombings. They need to be firm and vigilant while also being sensible and not take the extreme militaristic reactions like the US. US, after the assasination of Osama, wants to focus elsewhere, and they should.
What is the problem between France and NATO that is brewing? Why no news on this?
As someone noted the US might be wasting lot of time and energy in Pakistan. Pakistan itself might not be responsible for the recent bombings.
There are growing concerns that some militants have penetrated Europe and are trying to attack from there. Is this some paranoia? The running joke is Murdoch might be the militant who is hacking into poeple's technology to control global empire. Silly but cute.
Maybe Sarkozy saw this or something?
