Strikingly, while Marx

Strikingly, while Marx thought of capital in industrial terms, the development of capital along the lines of greatest quickest growth, and to reduce forces constraining its growth, has been much as he would have expected. Regulatory capture of governments by capital overturns Schumpeter's expectations of democratic resistance. Technological advances, whether the diminution of news by the Internet or the crushing of revolts by tanks, prevent street democracy from affecting legislation. It is very difficult to see how people may overcome the combination of privileged (privately governed) money and commercialized technology. Not a cheerful prospect.

Allow collapse.

ALL private central bank debt be made null and void.

End all private central banks and usury on government issued currency universally.

Hang all Rothschild and zionist associates if they obstruct the end of this crime syndicate. They will lose every single penny or their heads - their choice.

As past economic advisor to

As past economic advisor to Dennis Kucinich whose legacy is to have always taken his seat to support his party after getting his alotted minutes in the progressive limelight, Hudson should be an expert on good cops and bad cops and the two party charades.

Thank you again for a great show Bonnie. Max Keiser and Dr. Hudson are my favorite guests.

(BTW, Keiser interviewed Hudson a couple weeks ago on his On The Edge program on PressTV)

Folks who consider themselves progressive, left, libertarian, alternative or whatever need to educate themselves on the financial and economic aspects of repression. The rampant neo-Feudal kleptocracy that is developing is largely ignored or not understood by the mainstream liberal/left/progressive/alternative (or whatever we want to call it) media outlets.

I wish Amy Goodman, for example, would talk to Hudson, Keiser, Bob Chapman, Gerald Celente, Bill Black, Steve Keen or the like.

John Perkins ("Confessions of an Economic HItman") would also be a great guest, if he has not been already.

Michael Hudson stated that

Michael Hudson stated that "surplus is produced which gets used for workers' salaries, investing, and funding social benefits." And he accuses the financial cabal supposedly in charge of siphoning off this surplus for its own good. This surplus however is not an innate aspect of human society, it is a feature of capitalist society, and requires the mass dispossession of human beings and the exploitation of their labor power, and mass ecocide to turn everything into commodities. The crisis is far more basic than a financial cabal, and growth cannot continue on this finite planet much longer, See http://www.dailybattle.pair.com/2010/hudson_tarpley_disinformation.shtml

@Jeff Strahl - I found the

@Jeff Strahl - I found the link you gave interesting, but if the underlying problems does not have to do with monetary reform in the form of a debt-free monetary system, financial reform, and tax reform, then what is the solution? How are we to organize society? and what are people's relationship to each other? To be honest exploitation will always exist because any and all relationships consists of a mutual gratification where one exploits the other for his or her needs. Once the need goes, so does the relationship, not that this is a justification, but I am seeking some clarity on this issue.

The air is too thin for me at

The air is too thin for me at the level you discuss marxism in your linked essay. I'm more in the saying Utah Philips liked to quote, "I don't know much about this thing you call class, but the upper and middle can both kiss my ass." Perhaps Hudson is incorrect in some of his statements of what Marx, Ricardo, and Smith said or meant to say, but he seems to have a pretty good handle on what the bankers are doing to the world, and that's good enough, I think.

I do agree with you that both Hudson and Tarpley seem to think we can get back to the good ol' days of "happy motoring", as Jim Kunstler calls it, just by creating some more jobs and the like. But even if the economy continues to go down the tubes and the U.S. and the world become more impoverished as we come into a more proper and realistic relationship to ecology and petroleum, there is no reason why it all has to be born on the backs of the poor while the rich escape. So why not take the steps Hudson and Tarpley suggest? The results may not be exactly what they expect (recovery), but they will make the path more shared. And I don't understand at all why you suggest their proposals (better trains??) would lead to world war.

This is why "Personnel" has

This is why "Personnel" has been changed to "Human Resources".

It reflects the Corporate Ethos, more closely. I am not a 'resource'.

Thank you my friend, Mr. Jeff

Thank you my friend, Mr. Jeff Strahl. Your words are far more eloquent and concise than mine, in describing what I feel, and more importantly what is the FACT of the matter, concerning how capitalism has always and is continuing to destroy every thing that common people have worked so hard for, to better the lot of all human beings on "this bitter earth"(thanks and tears of relief, for the late great singer Dinah Washington's song "This Bitter Earth" that came to mind just now). Most grateful for the link too.
