Hi Walter, good show. I'm glad that you've found Sahara Reporters. It's a good site to read the spirited comments of Nigerians from all sides of any given issue. I lived in Lagos in the late 1970's for about 18 months, so I understand the correct Pronunciation of Fela Kuti(fella -like good fellas). Ok. JR from the Block Report has also begun using the same mispronunciation. Africans are to polite to correct you. JR interviewed Fela's youngest son last week and repeatedly mispronounced the father's name. Fela's son would pronounce his dad's name correctly after a few sentences passed avoiding a direct correction of JR. However, JR failed to hear this correction. I was slightly embarrassed for JR. Please let him know and keep up the good work!
