I am so glad an interviewee on the show called it what it is, "It is imperialism with socialism for the rich...so more and more money can be spent on global wars that hurt, humiliate, torture and kill Blacks, Browns and non-Christians". I used to not believe this...until I moved to parts of America between NYC and SF, between its coastal states where much of the diversity is, and outside university environments (where much of the discussions on these issues is primarily going on). Everybody blames Obama - as if one Black man is going to wave the magic wand and solve the problems that have been brewing and growing for many decades. What is the Congress doing?When are the people, in the greatest democracy in the world, going to start taking responsibility for the kind of people they vote into office and for issues they ignore or support? But they are happy to blame a few immigrants, few non-Christians, few minorities and few wome of color who are outspoken and daring. Canada is laughing at all this...and they are more than happy to take the money White boys and gals are bringing to them. Baton Rouge restaurants are not just restauants..it is an emergence of Americanization of Canada. We'll know with time if the good America or the bad America wins in these places. I did not support any of the bailouts...but you people did, "in the name of American patriotism", now pay the price. You cannot have it both ways, "Wars when it is convenient, blaming others when you want it, taking when you want it, shifting goal posts when you want it, and constantly wanting someone else, who has been amaxzingly kind to so many sides, to do all the work while sitting on their heads!" When is America and Americans going to take responsibility? When are you going to be honest? When are you going to stop following few people to pin it all on them? When are you going to stop destroying other people? When are you going to stop with the "me, me, me" culture? And how is Obama, or few brown or black people, responsible for all this?
