The debt issue is causing financial markets to wobble only for one reason: unpredictability (or uncertainity). If a decision is made to raise or not raise the debt ceiling the markets would adjust - though there will be some serious challenges before stability. It is uncertainility and unpredictability that markets hate...not whether it goes up or not.

Bachmann is funny - about the bit on "not invading Canada". Funny! She is quite impressive in the way she has grown and communicates in the last few months. I would not support her, but she will provide bang for the bucks in the elections. And Minnesota is doing well too! That gives her a lot of confidence, as Illinois gave to Obama. And Midwesterners like Obama and Bachmann can be quietly stubborn, firm and can nicely arm twist on both sides. Do not arm twist them. Mitt Romney might have some serious competition.

There is some "number play" in all the negotiations. That's for sure. Important for the media to really really look at the numbers. Get an accountant to figure how "number game" is played...so we know how the money goes in and then comes out and then goes around and around! :))

I didn't know about KPFA when Brian lost his legs (they didn't table on campus in the 80's, more's the pity), but I did know about CISPES, and after hearing the outrage over what happened drove up and parked on the dirt at the Highway 4 and Port Chicago offramp, my first sight of a piece of land I now pass every day to and from work. Brian, you truly are a legend to many many people, even to people who might surprise you as you saw. One day, when the base closure is complete, perhaps we need to consider a sitting, legless statue to Brian against the place on the tracks where he gave a big piece of his body to put an unjust weapons shipping business in front of so many eyes.

I hope your program shows that the 'conspiracy', the conspiracy was on our Owners to further their globalization, ownership of everything, renting it back to us - ANY of it , all of it . No more war, just pay rent - to walk to ride to read to study to reproduce children or food everything.
...that you don't allow that the cause is recent - yesterday, or when Obama was elected. It was carefully advanced under the Bush administration. It's been in the works 200+ years, as I expect you think and know.
