This is on Democracy Now!'s

This is on Democracy Now!'s coverage on the debt ceiling chaos. There was no discussion on how Conservatives remained united, organized, stubborn and persistent, and how the Democrats caved in. If Obama took the bully pulpit, as Amy and her guest speakers demand, he'd be accused of being a tyrant. He was accused of being a Hitler, a dictator, for his persuasiveness and pushiness on health reform - that most progressives would not call a "real reform" - just an expansion and a modification.

You cannot win with these pundits who always switch sides and goal posts. None of the people mentioned that Gabby Gifford was a Blue Dog Democrat who voted frequently with Republicans, or that someone whose mental abilities have been severely affected by a bullet injury had to be coaxed by her colleagues to come and vote - so enough votes could be obtained.

You cannot win with people who'll say, "Tyrant" and "Dictator" when they want, and then turn around and say, "He was not firm enough, he was not a bully...blah, blah, blah" when it convenient.

Make up your mind Democracy Now! and Amy you cannot have both. The House is not a child care center that the President or the Public needs to take care of. Did they do their job? Did they?

But thanks for the information on the Pentagon increase that no one has revealed, talked about or mentioned in mainstream public.
