Thank you so much Dennis for these thoughtful interviews with Helen Caldicott and Michio Kaku about the unmanageable costs of nuclear energy: Nuclear power plants (which serve as a cover for the nuclear armaments industry as well) threaten to decimate all life on this planet.
Please note: It is not merely a question of further climactic changes, with weather patterns growing more erratic and violent. The nuclear power plants pour poisonous waste continuously seeps into the atmosphere--before, during, and after any disaster, destroying the very life of this planet.
We cannot expect to survive, when we destroy all that we depend upon.
Remember, too, that the Earth itself is actually living being, with its own destiny and rights. Let us honor as the sacred being that She is.

Gladly re-checked Helen Caldicott's website @ http://nuclearfreeplanet.org/categories/nuclear-weapons/depleted-uranium...
while that was on and listening to both ...
August 7th is known as "peace-Day" by the Okinawa people, an indigenous people conquered and yet disrespectful of Nipponese "imperialist" ways, altho both are becoming more international... by being anti-empire? celebrated w them on 8-07-1977 once they knew i was not "military-hegemonyite"?

yes Kevin's info was good on Lybia
but if you want Lybia info you have to listen to Tarpley and Hudson on guns and butter
and go to Tarpler's site and Black Agenda site and Ellen brown Web Of debt
I guess you are not interested in the economic warfare the banks are waging against you I guess you don't care that you are getting robbed Fitts tells us how the banksters are robbing us
the battle in Lybia, Irag, AFPAK,Wisconsin, the banksters war on the working class IS ALL ONE WAR
other shows tell the political Fitts tells us how the financial part of the war on the working class works
Another boring show without one word on the Libyan War. Strange that when Dennis finally returned from his vacation and was pitching for donations he was telling us that Kevin and Mahdi's work on the Libya War could only be heard of Flashpoints.
Instead it's time for us to all listen to the boring refugee from the Reagan administration free style on the economy.
What a boring and useless show. I donated specifically due to the Libya coverage. I think I'm calling KPFA and telling them to cancel my donation.
