Just looked up Roubini's bio and discovered that among his influences were: Keynes, Minsky, and Larry Summers, the latter of whom pushes Roubini "safely" to the Center, Center-Left and permits him his entry, occasionally, through mainstream media portals.
Reminds of Hyman Minsky, Paul Sweezy, Paul Baran, et. al. Now, even economists "just ouside" the inside like Nouriel Roubini are sounding the alarm. Clear to me, the authentic Left has never gone away and is today re-establishing its clarion voice. Would that more of us were within ear shot of its clear message.
