Regarding the tar sands pipeline story - If the US invested as much money as they do for filthy fossil fuel projects in industrial hemp fuel farms instead, we'd have a clean, sustainable source of fuel that would provide jobs for Americans long after this disgusting pipeline would. We HAVE to get off the oil teat before we destroy the planet, not just from warming, but from polluting it with toxic waste to the point that it won't be able to recover. We cannot continue the unsustainable, corporately profitable practices that have destroyed and continue to destroy so much. It's time to demand that our criminal government unleash the potential of industrial hemp so Americans can have jobs not just in the fuel creation business, but in the thousands of of other sustainable businesses that would be created with the legalization of industrial hemp. It's a crime against humanity that industrial hemp continues to be banned in the face of such economic and environmental devastation caused by the corporate strangulation of this amazing plant. STOP THE PIPELINE AND LEGALIZE INDUSTRIAL HEMP NOW!!!! (For the record, I'm an Alaskan who'd rather see our nation invest in big hemp than big oil. I love my planet WAY more than I love the money big oil brings my state.)
