NATO means North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Since the intentional break up of Yugoslavia corporations/military complex, NATO has spread is tentacles outside the North Atlantic. Or did Yugoslavia, Georgia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, et al, just re-materialize as a land bridge across the North Atlantic from the Netherlands to the state of Maine?
