BET at 46:25 or so: "I don't understand why it's in the interest of these foundations to promote this. I can understand a right-wing foundation underwriting people who are promoting free-market economics, because that's ultimately working in the class interests of the people who endow that foundation. What do they get out of promoting Islamophobia?"
Ever heard of racism? And in particular of Zionism? Unfortunately, it appears your guest hasn't.

Inability to comprehend and identify the details of the broad picture, causes resorting to what our Owners permit us to say. Zionism is not racism. In fact, anti-Arab-ist-ness is not racist. Yes, so much has been racialized. But racism doesn't get hold of our Owners' work to maintain their rule. Racism is an assist, one of several foundational factors, while imperialism is advanced. It matters so we can struggle for our actual aims that will eradicate the structures for our persecution. Racism will only be addressed when the work against material injustice is advanced. ...like in Cuba.
Any such misguided legislation - "outlawing Sharia law" - in the U.S. will inevitably crash and burn on impact with the "Establishment Clause" of the U.S. Constitution. And that is a good thing! Perhaps the xenophobes among us who can't tolerate differences in religious practice would thus be chastened. But actually, probably not.
makes me want to learn what could happen if Sharia law is 'outlawed' by U.S. governments. What behavior in the U.S., aside from what we've seen already, suppressively-clothed women and girls, suppressively head-dressed men and boys, men down on their knees rear in the air five times a day with job sites making allowances - or not - for that, would be changed by outlawing sharia law here in the U.S.
