What stupidity. What bull***t. What utter gall on this man to present this as truth. If there was any doubt that a cover-up is in effect, it is this kind of obfuscation.

I was not surprised to see Mr. Thomas & Mr. Muller's expert use of irrelevant examples to promote their views. Mr. Muller's paper = steel analogy certainly lowered the intelligence bar. And for Mr. Thomas's to deny overwhelming evidence of melted steel, "flowing like lava..." as documented by first responders, news reporters, clean up crews Governor Pataki, (people who were actually AT THE SITE), is nothing more than a lame attempt to draw listeners away from the truth. It is at this point that the credibility factor rapidly disintegrated.

I am all for fair debates, but believe that at some point moderators should step in when double speak is used in such a blatant manner on such a serious topic. It only serves to confuse the already confused, and prevent the progress towards truth.

Well think again, if they get away with this once what will they do next? Therefore it is imperative that the truth and nothing but the truth is divulged about the events that happened that treacherous day. Otherwise your living in system controlled by lies and that definitely is not very promising from the continuation of mankind. As an outsider looking in on all this mystery the greatest pointer to something not quite right about the whole tradgedy is building 7, you do not have to be a scientist to see that when steel buckles it does not do so simultaneouslywith all the other columns were heated up but not uniformly, if building 7 had leaned to one side and then came down that would be what you would expext, but no the building came down as if a giant chainsaw cut through the bases of the columns at the bottom of WTC 7 ,that is what is hard to believe,resistance was cut from all the columns in a completly syncrhonised fashion, the buldings integrity had bee undermined, by something other than fire alone.

This was a wonderful program, but I can't help but think that, for most US citizens, their minds are way too far along other paths to worry about this now. It has been 10 years, filled with critical evidence that has garnered attention by only a narrow stratum of our society - mostly academics and professionals who can be isolated and dismissed as "pinheads" or "loners" in their fields, as people who have an axe to grind, or malcontents. In other words, the truth is not general to the population as a whole, so it can be ignored as the ravings of cranks. Yes, the truth should be boldly put forward, but must also be a political movement to remove ALL the criminals in government, the media, and the military who perpetrated this crime. How and whom are the major questions.

Yes, I--too--was puzzled by the paper = steel analogy, and the insistence that jet fuel (merely kerosene) is terrifically powerful stuff, even more so than thermite. Huh? And, there was one fellow who used circular reasoning. In arguing that steel frame buildings DO collapse (questionable), he ended by saying.."and we saw it did in this case." You wanna run that by me again?!! In many of these (official myth) arguments, we see truth, and logic, and the laws of physics take a long holiday.

Please allow me to say, in passing, that we strongly encouraged our management at KPFK to have this kind of real debate on the facts of the 9-11 WTC tragedy: No dice. And, our hosts--dealing with largely peripheral issues, and with an oddly weird twist--were very disappointing to many of our listener stakeholders. This program--on KPFA--was impressive. I'm not sure what the first few minutes of comments was about, but the debate proper was decidedly refreshing. An honest, objective examination of the facts:

A well-moderated debate and thank you for bringing Gage and Harrit on; voices of reason and empiricism. As for Mueller and Thomas, double-think is always fascinating to observe, especially with people who presume to be intelligent (truly smart people know their limits). Mueller comes across as a patronizing academic ready with false analogy (if gasoline's so perfect, why don't demolitions crews bring in a tanker?) after false analogy (steel buildings are not paper cylinders), who can't control an embarrassingly petty need to promote his own book on national radio discussing a global tragedy. Thomas can't get his facts straight, and thinks he knows better than first-responders who were actually there. No gentlemen, this story isn't going away just on your say-so; too much is at stake.

Thank you. Finally KPFA does a real educated debate that wasn't just people representing the official conspiracy theory offered by the US government. Everyone knows 9/11 was a conspiracy; the question is what conspiracy theory are we going to believe? Question all of the theories until we someday maybe know better what really happened.
