And congratulations to

And congratulations to brother Cornell West. Is he not something! That brother tells it like it is! I learned a few things when he talks...very few journalists do that for me. I know far more than they do. But Brother West got it right when he called what is going on in the US (towards poor people, dark skinned people, colored people and immigrants) as, "ni------zation of people", and how the oppressed collude with those in power. He got that right! I call the America the new "not wanted people"...because nobody trusts or likes or appreciates Americans anymore. Even in Canada they treat Americans as pariahs, outcastes and people who are no longer smart, sensitive, sensible or worthy of trust.

I do not blame Obama...He is a good man who is stuck in a system that will constrain him, convert him, coopt him or crush him. Look at the Congress! I wonder what will have to change among those who "do not see, do not hear or do not talk" to bring the right people into Congress? What, what, what?

Cornell West should get on CNN and FOX and let it fly! I want to see what those guys will do! You go brother!

Congratulations to the Sikh

Congratulations to the Sikh community representative for coming out and speaking up. Sikhism, which is sect of Hinduism that later became a separate religion, though HIndus and Sikhs intermarry in countries like India, was both a reaction to casteism in some communities, and the invasion and occupation of the precious land of Punjab from the west. Hence the long hair and the kirpan. I hope, like ManMohan Singh - a Prime MInister, America is able to elect a Sikh President. There are people asking for Obama's birth certificate. Imagine what they'd ask for from a gay or gal named Singh?

I hope this wonderful Sikh gentleman is not set up in any way. Like the fight against dot busters, which still continues in some communities, the Sikh community has had to fight against discrimination that does not even collect statistics on their reality. And Democracy Now did inform us how they were not even considered statistics of crime. I heard the number of Sikhs who got killed is as high as the number of Muslims killed in the US. Is that true? Please provide some details. Of course the number of innocent Muslims killed in Iraq and other places for exceeds any death in the US.
