Kate Raphael talks with Rose Aguilar, host of Your Call on KALW and author of Red Highways: A Liberal’s Journey Through the Heartland, and with Zeina Zaatari, regional director for Middle East and North Africa at Global Fund for Women. We discuss the legacy of 9-11 for women both here and in the areas targeted by the U.S. war on terror. We also preview the dramas “Unveiled,” now playing at Brava, and “Janaki: Daughter of the Dirt” opening September 16 at Mission Cultural Center.
