Apparently this is what the etsemeed Willis was talkin' 'bout.
In the '60s when I was in school we worried about power concentrations in the Communist Party giving ever reinforcing Stalinism. Now we have to worry about concentrations of power on the Right, in the corporatists, the super rich, big media as en-ln-abeled by a wrong headed judiciary, the military industrial prison complex giving rise to a new/old form of Fascism.
Our own corruption given has given us a third world problem. Wealth concentrations and political power go hand in hand as the people are left on wayside.
Letting the banks have all that money was dangerous. It let them go on playing economically debilitating money games. Henry Ford boasted that he made a product which his employees could afford to own. Why wasn't a stipulation attached that the big banks bailouts had to be invested in manufacturing, services and in research calculated to contribute to these?
