I looked at the "Stop the Conspiracy Theories, Al Qaeda Tells Iranian Leader" link which led to a NY Times article which supposedly linked to something they called the "the latest issue of the terror group’s English-language magazine, Inspire", but, in fact, did no such thing, instead going to another Times article about Turkey, Iran, and Israel. By the way, the NY Times did not see fit in yesterday's edition to even mention the Wall Street demonstration. In general, I don't believe the NY Times, nor "Al-Qaeda", for that matter, are very trustworthy sources for information about 9/11. Most people now realize the official conspiracy theory doesn't hold water.

(BTW, kpfa.org desperately needs to ditch the Big Bro "free" Google tools-- doing a search for "morning show" kept turning up 0 results after 1 search on "Amy" only brought up Dem Now links.. but turning to an ALTERNATIVE, upstart engine (startpage.com) I came across

2. Good advice-- I didn't listen. Pretty predictable, and hard to listen to on a lo-fi 32k mp3 file. Sometimes he has interesting insider info tidbits, but they're rather few, so if anyone could please-- summarize anything fascinating here and I'll have saved an hour. I have too much on my plate as it is. (Y'all realize, there are good shows on http://archive.wbai.org and http://archive.kpfk.org/ as well?? Even www.kpft.org has an awesome show updating Drug War news, "Cultural Baggage"! Anyone remember when kpfa used to carry www.alternativeradio.org ?? Note also that most all shortwave is listenable via net nowadays-- www.wrn.org and http://www.outfarpress.com/SWNetSites.html

I can't believe KPFA allowed

I can't believe KPFA allowed Hamid Gul to claim that 9/11 was an "inside job" without challenging such insanity. Al-Qaeda's online magazine, Inspire, just today condemned President Ahmadinejad of Iran for saying essentially the same thing last week at the U.N.: "Iran and the Shi’a in general do not want to give Al Qaeda credit for the greatest and biggest operation ever committed against America because this would expose their lip-service jihad against the Great Satan" (see "Stop the Conspiracy Theories, Al Qaeda Tells Iranian Leader," http://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/09/28/stop-the-conspiracy-theories...).

I'm sorry to see that KPFA has become the mouthpiece in California for the ISI. When will journalists in the U.S. challenge their interviewees with facts, like a number British journalists do?
