Van Jones needs to show some humility...in stead of his suit and organizational look. Nothing wrong with that, but his making fun of "Canadians or those who want to go to Canada" is a bit strange - considering there are many Canadians among the protestors who are giving their time and their talent. Many of them have the right to go home, or to make criticism of America. You do! Now that a Black man is in office what gives you the sudden arrogance to become the "great patriot" who suddenly decides who is in and who is out? It might help if you got out of your provincial environment once in a while and showed some "higher thinking" and not just borrow from others. Black men too can learn from Obama who is far more intelligent and less egotistical than some of you guys. Know your limits. Appearing on Bill Maher does not make you a change agent. I liked the way you motivated people...but learn to respect your peers. Give up your half baked ego...! You are already pissing off some smart non-Black colored intellectuals. Know how to work together!

So called Canadians have a

So called Canadians have a very racist and oppressive society as well. All the same horrors non whites face in amerikkka, are live & well in good ol canada! so give Van a break! As if they are "the good white folks" or some shit!

Excellent coverage! I'd like

Excellent coverage! I'd like you to do some serious coverage on what happens when large number of soldiers, some of whom have spent three or four tour duties in combat zones, and have given up their entire 20s and 30s to these long extended armed conflicts in remote and/or dangerous places, return? What services and support do they get? Will the number of "suicides, homicides, other mental illnesses and domestic violence" go up? Is America ready to face this possibility, because the PTSD is going to require many years, if not decades, of help and support. We are cutting mental health services, and only the extremely disturbed are getting some help...and that too in the form of medication. We have police who are shooting the mentally ill, imagine what happens when these sacrificing soliders return. This jobs program is critical for that. But even more critical is the support they need!
